About me
Former Executive Design Director for Italy at Artop Design Group and founder of Ate Rote Design Studio, I am now based in the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering at the University of the Aegean, where I am conducting research on data-driven AI-enhanced design processes. I investigate how emerging socio-technical phenomena are reshaping design workflows and the organisational structures of design practice.
I have worked for more than 15 years in product design for European companies and product innovation for major Chinese brands, designing products, managing international design teams, and researching design trends and design languages. My path also includes previous roles as Visiting Lecturer and Teaching Assistant at the Politecnico di Milano and the Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI) in L’Aquila, Italy.
